1. Who we are

MEXAMIX (“we”, “us”) provides a DJ business and live-event platform. Contact: hello@mexamix.app.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, password (hashed by our auth provider), profile/branding.
• Business data: clients, leads, events, quotes, contracts, messages, expenses.
• Guest/client portal data: requests, shout-outs, guestbook media, portal submissions.
• Device/tech data: device identifiers for trial abuse prevention, approximate usage logs, push subscription endpoints if you enable notifications.
• Payment-related notes you enter (e.g. bank instructions). Card processing, when enabled, will be handled by a payment provider under their terms.

3. How we use data

We use data to operate and improve the Service, authenticate users, enforce plan limits and trials, provide realtime features, send transactional notifications you enable, prevent fraud/abuse, and comply with law.

4. Sharing

We share data with infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting, database, storage, email/push) under contracts that restrict their use of data. We do not sell personal data. Event portals expose content you choose to share with clients and guests.

5. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Guestbook media is retained according to plan rules (including time-limited retention and optional paid keep). You may request deletion of your account; some records may remain where legally required or in backups for a limited period.

6. Your responsibilities

If you collect guest or client personal data through MEXAMIX, you are typically the controller of that data. Provide appropriate notices and obtain consents required for your events and jurisdiction (including photos/audio/video in guestbooks).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. International users

We may process data in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service you understand data may be transferred across borders with appropriate safeguards.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. Do not create an account for a child under 16.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact us at hello@mexamix.app. We may need to verify your identity.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy and will revise the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
